Boise State Dining

📍 Boise, ID

As the in-house graphic designer for Boise State Dining, I create both digital and print marketing collateral to support campus-wide dining events, promotions, and campaigns. I collaborate closely with our marketing team to ensure all materials align with Boise State’s brand while maintaining a fresh, engaging visual style tailored to the student audience. A major project I led this year involved rebranding our meal plan marketing—from outdated designs to a cohesive new campaign. I developed a full suite of materials including brochures, banners, flyers, and stickers to support the launch. I also designed a large-format wall wrap for the Chick-fil-A renovation, transforming a construction space into a branded, on-campus experience.

Chick-fil-A Construction Wall Wrap

One of my most impactful projects at Boise State Dining was designing a full-scale wall wrap for the Chick-fil-A construction zone on campus. The challenge was to create a visual that maintained Chick-fil-A’s nationally recognized branding while seamlessly incorporating Boise State’s visual identity.

To achieve this, I drew inspiration from the university’s signature cut-corner motif and integrated slanted rectangles to reflect the forward motion and energy of the project. The final design honored both brands while turning a construction site into a visually engaging, on-brand experience for students and campus visitors.

Plus, it’s really freaking cool to see my work come to life in such a big, tangible way.

Meal Plan Brochure Redesign

For the Boise State Dining brochure redesign, I was tasked with updating existing materials to align with a new campaign theme. With several campaign directions available, I chose to implement one centered on sustainability and lasting enjoyment—values that reflect both campus culture and student priorities.

I refreshed the previous year’s brochure by applying the new campaign style to preexisting templates, making strategic updates to both content and design. I highlighted sustainable dining features and focused on improving the overall dining experience.

Stylistically, I made the brochures more dynamic and visually engaging with bold layouts, thoughtful hierarchy, and Boise State’s updated design language—ensuring the piece was as informative as it was eye-catching.
